We want to make a positive difference to the behaviours and the emotional, and social needs of the learners entrusted to our care
Making a difference to young lives
Good relationships between our school and the community give our learners a greater chance of success
The use of Information Technologies is an essential part of school life with all classrooms having access to computers and other technologies which are used throughout the day and across the curriculum. Younger learners are taught basic computer skills including understanding how computers work, word processing, presenting information and multimedia skills.
At KS3 our younger learners will be introduced to Information Technology in our well-equipped Information Technology Suite where they will be introduced to formal lessons on a range of topics that will support the development of computer skills in preparation for more formal study in KS4.
At KS4 we offer a BTEC Award in Digital Media Production that is accredited by Edexcel. The course covers creative digital media sectors for example, moving images, audio production, games design, website design and publication
